GENERAL INFORMATION


Brief Summary

Temperament: Very alert and intelligent, loves to play,very affectionate, quite demanding.

Behaviour with Children: Gets on better with older children.

Behaviour with other Pets: Usually not to be trusted with non-canine pets.

Activity Level:Requires fairly vigorous daily exercise.

Life Expectency:Approximately 10 - 12 years plus/minus.

Training potential:Responds quite well to training as has a great desire to please.

Living Environment:Inclined to chew, so requires plenty of toys to keep occupied. Very good at climbing so can scale chain link fences easily. Uses successfully, lots of charm to get its own way. Quite aloof with strangers.Dislikes wet weather. Do not mistake "quiet" dog for a dog that is inactive, with this breed the word "quiet" usually means - does not bark.
