Long coated variety requires coat combing and brushing regularly.

Check to ensure no burrs or other material caught in coat.

When shedding coat, remove as much loose dead hair or undercoat as possible.

Can be shampooed when necessary.

Check inside of ears and keep clean.

Check pads to ensure no cuts or other wounds.

Make sure eyes keep clean.

Examine teeth often and prevent tartar build-up.

Keep long hairs on tail, brushed or combed out.

Nails should be clipped approx. every 4 - 6 weeks.
