Short haired Chihuahua should be brushed gently with small bristle brush or wiped with a damp soft cloth.

Long haired variety should be brushed gently with bristle brush.

Only bathe if really necessary.

Check inside of ears and keep clean.

Check eyes to make sure they are clean and free of any particles.

Keep nails nicely trimmed and reasonably short.

Train youngsters gently to stand for grooming from a young age.
