A good brushing with stiff brush is required at least once a week.

Regularly check carefully for any insects, ticks or foreign objects they may have become lodged in their thick coat.

During shedding, brush or comb more often to remove any dead hair.

Check eyes for tearing.

Regularly make sure inside of ears are clean.

Depending on dog, nails should be kept short and clipped/filed every 4 - 6 weeks.
