Temperament: Gentle, intelligent, calm and steady natured.

Behaviour with Children: Very good but because of his great size, can unwittingly knock small child over.

Behaviour with other pets: Gets along well with other dogs providing properly socialized as youngster.

Activity Level: Would love to be couch potato but to keep healthy does need to be exercised.

Obedience Level: Does well providing trained gently and with patience and persistence, sometimes difficult to train.

Expected Life Span: Approx. 10 - 12 years plus/minus.

Living Conditions required: Makes excellent pet, inclined to be possessive of home and family. Wants to please and needs human family companionship. Is a natural protector .
