Brief Summary

Temperament: Sensible and very devoted to his family.They make great companion dogs providing they get sufficient exercise to fulfil their energetic needs.

Behaviour with Children:Great with children.

Behaviour with other Dogs: Gets on well with other dogs and pets.

Activity Level: High energy, requires a lot of physical exercise, stick throwing or ball throwing is a good way of exercising - and the dogs love it.

Obedience Ability: Good.

Learning Ability: Good.

Average Life Span: 11 - 14 years plus/minus.

Guard Dog: Bark only when there is danger.

Living Environment: Can do well in apartment providing receives sufficient daily exercise. Withstands cold weather quite well.
