wheatenWe showed our first Wheaten back in 1979 at the very first C.K.C. show where the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier was eligible to be shown. Our dog not only took the Breed and Group 1st in the Terrier Group at the Ottawa KC Show, May 4, 1979, he was the first breed and first group winner for SCWT's in Canada and went on to finish his Canadian Championship with a 5 pt. breed win on each of the next two days, becoming the first Champion of record for the breed in Canada and the first male Champion.

I find this breed to be everything one could wish for in a dog, eager to please, happy disposition and intelligent.
