Regular grooming definitely required.

A good combing and brushing is necessary.

If not showing dog, coat can be clipped to shorter length.

If showing dog, many hours of grooming required.

This breed sheds very little, if any, hair.

The topknot is tied back with ribbon to keep out of eyes.

Teeth require close attention and may require cleaning.

Inside of ears and eyes need to be kept clean.

Depending on individual dog, nails require trimming approx. every four to six weeks.
