Obedience ability:Stubborn. This breed not for those that require absolute obedience.

Life Expectancy:Eight years plus/minus.

Living Environment:An indoor dog. Loves to help you be a couch potato.

Health Issues: This breed easily becomes over-heated, care is needed when outdoors on very hot days, never leave in a hot unventilated area, even more sensitive to this than other breeds. Sensitive to extreme cold conditions. Sometimes drools, often snores while sleeping.

Very little grooming required.

Regular brushing with a rough cloth.

Special care required in powdering their folds and wrinkles and under tail, especially in hot weather.

Check inside of ears regularly.

Check eyes for tearing regularly.

Keep nails short, depending on individual dog nails should be clipped approximately every 4 - 6 weeks.
