Temperament: : Cheeky, affectionate, alert and courageous but can be stubborn but very loyal.

Behaviour with children:  Make excellent playmates for children, indoors and out..

With Other Pets:   If properly socialized when young, generally good.

Activity Level:  Not excessively high but does need regular exercise.

Obedience Ability:  Can be a little stubborn so constant obedience training with firm but soft hand does wonders.

Life Span:  Approx. 11 - 15 Years - plus/minus.

Living Environment:  Requires a home with at least a back yard.

Health Issues:   For the most part, a healthy breed. As with all breeds, there are specific health issues connected with this breed that can arise. Best to check with veterinarian and breeders.
